I've been waiting for months to get to Chef Or Ginsberg's Selas Restaurant. I heard so many good things that I had to come and find out for myself what it was all about.
The day has arrived, we went for a tasting meal costs 335 NIS per person, which includes dishes chosen by the chef that come to the center of the table for sharing. A meal that there is no chance you will leave hungry. Everything was so tasty that I must give up the #yammmmm rating, because all the dishes get this rate.
So after expressing how much we enjoyed and how delicious it was, I will talk about the dishes.
Pipino Cucumber Ravioli. A refreshing dish to start with.

Naked Tomato Salad in a Parmesan bath. A stunning dish and very special in its flavors. So special that it took us a while to realize we were eating a tomato and not a fish. Fascinating flavors.

Eggplant in Miso, cherry tomato butter, ginger vinaigrette and refreshing leaves. The eggplant was so soft and got sweet and pleasant Asian flavors that worked amazing in the mouth.

3 types of Bluefin Tuna Sashimi, akami, tsutoro, akami secret. The love of my life in is sashimi. Certainly when the fish is so great. So such a plate of tuna is literally a dream come true for me at every meal.

Mediterranean Tataki, a dish of slices of seared tuna in a crust of seven peppers, Jerusalem artichoke cream, burnt eggplant splash and Korean chili. All the sauces work superbly together.

Salmon Tartuffe, salmon dish, fresh pineapple, soy vinaigrette, apple and herbs consommé, tobiko and pickled chili. A fun bite, along with an exciting look.

It was followed by Selas Caviar. Put the spoon into the box, make sure it is full of all the ingredients together, take a big bite, and enjoy.

Three types of Nigiri, salmon, tuna and white fish. Each of them is paired with smart and correct ingredients. I have been waiting for this Nigiri for a long time, and I am glad that it has finally happened.
We moved to some Sushi Rolls.
Selas roll, 8 pieces roll filled with white fish, chives and avocados, salmon topping, tuna and white fish, yuzu aioli, green onions and sesame seeds. Walcano roll. Fried Maki style roll with topping of tuna salmon on top of each piece. Warm inside and riders outside. Nikkei roll, 8 piece roll with salmon in lemon and chili marinade, white fish topping, crispy leek and Peruvian chili vinaigrette.
From here we started a short session of main courses.
Bam-Book, a dish of seared white fish, mashed potatoes, Bar Blan, Amazque and Tobiko. So delicious. You get a bowl of bamboo in which you will find delicious surprises.

Smoked Soil, a dish of rice risotto and black beans, salmon in brown butter, cashews, spices and smoke. A very special dish with a variety of textures. The beans are a little hard and the risotto is a dream, the salmon is soft and all together on the spoon is amazing.

We moved to the desserts.
Pebbles, a dessert of chocolate stones filled with chocolate mousse, yuzu cream and crunch praline hazelnuts, on yuzu toffees, nut crumble and black cocoa. A stunning dessert.

Lemongrass Rhapsody, a dessert of lemon grass ice cream, rosemary, sugar caviar, meringue lime powder and hazelnuts. A variety of textures that we liked.

It was an unusual experience and too delicious.
