I heard that a new restaurant by Chef Dan Zoaretz, a Peigam restaurant, had opened, so I decided to come, especially since it is located in the north, in Ein Hod.
Arrive on Saturday at noon, park in the parking lot, we sat in the interior space (including only 2 tables), inside a beautiful stone building in front of the sea, next to us the open kitchen where Zoaretz stands and on the other side the terrace that includes a few more tables.
The menu included small plates for starters and bigger that were slightly larger than the smaller ones.
We started with a kind of Sourdough Bread (24 NIS), which came with Greek yogurt. The bread was too hard and without much flavor and also the dips next to it was just fine. #yammmmm

Slices of Albacore Tuna (32 NIS), favorite flavors of olive oil, and coarse salt and a delicious pickle that I will always like. #yammmmm

Cubaniya Bar Yam (36 NIS), with yogurt aioli, crib oil and dried mint. A texture that I like, and a dish that I found special. #yammmmm

Beans and Tahini (26 NIS), beans cooked for five days and tahini. A plate that is hard not to like. It's nice to eat it with a spoon, but the lack of carbs has been felt. #yammmmm

Lamb Skewer (36 NIS). A very simple dish, i wasn't so into it. #yammmmm

Pickled Cauliflower Skewer (28 NIS), a simple cauliflower skewer, not something that has a lot to expand on except that it lacked salt. #yammmmm

Beef Tartare (52 NIS), fermented almonds and hyssop cracker. The tartare was not spicy enough, the cracker was nice but it was not a dish I enjoyed of. #yammmmm

The only meat dish that had a justification was the Steak (96 NIS), with okra stew. An interesting dish that renewed some flavors for me. I do not see frequent use of okra in restaurants and here it was stunning along with the tender meat, and totally proved that it is an ingredient that should be used more. #yammmmm

Potato (54 NIS), with burnt onion sauce, tomato butter and lemon, wild sage chips, dried yogurt. A nice dish. The potato came crispy and the onion sauce was excellent with the combination of the egg. Nice but even here a little salt would be go. #yammmmm

Asparagus (54 NIS), with burnt pepper sauce, salted granola. A nice dish with good flavors but not so special. #yammmmm

Half Tuna Arais (32 NIS), the best dish we ate. A dish of crispiness, softness and good fish flavors. #yammmmm

Bass Harima (38 NIS), a simple dish of classic Harima sauce. Nice. #yammmmm

I have not yet recovered from the experience. Unfortunately it's a place I'll never go back to.
It's a #yammmmm
