For a while I have wanted to go to the Aleta restaurant, on the shores of the Sea ofGalilee. It started with the desire to get to one of the restaurants located in the north of the country and continued with some good reviews I read specifically about the restaurant. So I set a reservation for one of the Saturdays I found, and we set off.
Arrive at the restaurant, the Sea of Galilee in front of us. We set down, ordered lots of dishes from the menu, and got started.
Focaccia (25 NIS), with soft butter, olives and tomato salsa. For me the real test in every meal, is how tasty the carb of the beginning is and whether the pairing of the dips next to it is successful and quality. I really enjoyed this focaccia, and especially its dipping in butter, which was really soft. #yammmmm
Trout Crostini (48 NIS), with aioli, smoked trout, yogurt stone and chili. Excellent pairing of ingredients. But, it would have been better to refined a bit in the proportion between the aioli and the trout. #yammmmm
Tomato Salad (58 NIS), with colorful cherry tomatoes, zucchini, arugula, moist cherry tomatoes, truffle manchego cream and basil oil. I really enjoyed this dish. I don't usually order salads at a restaurant, and this time the words truffle and manchego that appeared on the menu made me go for it, and it was delicious and fresh. #yammmmm
Red Drum Tartare (64 NIS), with chives, roasted tomatoes, lime, cream cheese, basil flowers, basil oil and fried bread crumbs. A delicious dish with a very simple operation. Take a small piece of bread, put the tartar on it, fill it with a touch of the cream cheese, tomatoes and basil in the center of the plate and take a bite full of noise and juicy taste. #yammmmm
Tuna Sashimi (68 NIS), with vinaigrette, dill oil, avocado, cucumber, dill and candied coriander seeds. There is no greater fun than experiencing different and varied textures in the mouth. And that's exactly what happens in this dish. #yammmmm
Red Tuna Carpaccio (68 NIS), with grape salsa, Thai basil chili, sour cream, garlic crispy and spelled cracker. In most of my bites I enjoyed this dish, until I came across a less chewy piece. #yammmmm
Fish Shish Barak (64 NIS), with Red drum, yogurt, mint oil, spicy salsa, mini zucchini, pine nuts and mint powder. A dish without much interest in the plate. #yammmmm
Ella Olio Spaghetti (119 NIS), with Red drum fillet, broccoli, moist tomatoes, garlic, parsley, wild mushrooms and asparagus cream. The fish was excellently made, but the spaghetti itself got a kind of Asian flavor, with strong broccoli flavors and generally very salty flavors. The asparagus refined the taste a bit but it still worked less for me. #yammmmm
Mushroom Risotto (129 NIS), with Red drum fillet, porcini risotto, wild mushrooms and herbs. In this dish too the fish was made excellent but the risotto had a bitter taste of the mushrooms and was hard to enjoy from. #yammmmm
For dessert we ordered 2 desserts that were both excellent.
Chocolate Coffee and Cardamom Mousse (48 NIS), with English coffee, caramelized hazelnuts and cardamom coffee. Wow how delicious, and from bite to bite it even gets more stunning in the mouth. All these textures together on the spoon and it is a dream. #yammmmm
Raspberry and Mascarpone (54 NIS), mascarpone mousse, raspberry creme, white chocolate chips and fresh strawberries. Wow, I want it again, how delicious. 3 Stunning balls with pleasant creams that are hard to stop eating, and the strawberries arrived in time and also lightened the whole vibes. Yam. #yammmmm
It's a #yammmmm
